The Percana code base is built on the Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 using the C# development language.

Architecture

Percana provides a distributed enterprise solution developed to best practice industry standards. Its n-Tier architecture, where client user interfaces, business components and data repositories have been entirely separated, provides a scaleable, flexible and efficiently maintained system.

Security

Web Enabled

The Percana distributed architecture; the use of modern technologies and a strong security implementation makes the provision of web interfaces easier, more straightforward and robust than older traditional systems.

Load Balancing

  • Allows processing to be distributed over any number of servers
  • Server clusters can be dynamically changed
  • Allows servers to be taken off-line without bringing the system down. System scalability can be enhanced simply by adding more hardware

XML Web Services

  • Allows standard Percana Life Administrator clients to work over the Internet
  • No need for separate Web development and testing
  • Ideal for remote administration
  • Supports SSL security
